Vishay Foil resistors have been used for more than 40 years in military equipment-and even before a suitable MIL SPEC was established. In the late 60s, MIL R 55182 was established and the RNC90 style applied to the Vishay Foil resistors. Testing to “R” failure rate was conducted and the devices have been used continuously ever since. Today, Vishay Foil resistors are serving in every category of military equipment that relies on electronics for its functionality.
