Vishay Precision Group
On October 27th, 2009, Vishay Intertechnology announced its intention to spin-off its measurements
business into an independent, publicly traded company to be named Vishay Precision Group. Vishay
Precision Group (“VPG”) is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of sensors, weighing modules,
and weighing systems for a wide variety of applications Vishay Precision Group, through its brands BLH and
Nobel Weighing Systems, designs and manufactures industry-leading and innovative solutions for process weighing
and force measurement systems.
BLH
The BLH brand is well-established as a manufacturer of high-quality and high-accuracy
weighing systems with unparalleled 50-years experience in weighing technology. BLH
was first to introduce the commercial strain gage, and pioneered many classic designs
of industrial load cells.
BLH has a product line of uniquely engineered load cells that are designed to maximize accuracy and minimize the effects of
mixing, agitation and temperature changes in critical process weighing stages. Its signal conditioners and process control
systems are designed to comply with the stringent requirements of the chemical, steel, food and pharmaceutical industries,
and offer a wide variety of communication protocols used in complex production lines.
BLH Applications Engineers help customers configure the right system for their specific needs and provide extensive technical
documentation, allowing engineers to ensure a safe and efficient design for their weighing and force measurements needs.
BLH has thousands of strain-gage-based systems installations worldwide, with field service personnel available for installations and repair.
Nobel
Nobel brand name goes back in history to 1940 as part of the Swedish Bofors Industries. Since then, Nobel Weighing Systems established itself
as world leader in process weighing and force measurement. The KIS beam family developed by Nobel Weighing Systems became an industry
standard for quality load cells with high performance.
Nobel Weighing Systems has a product line of uniquely engineered load cells that are designed to maximize accuracy and minimize the effects

The R&D and Application Center of Nobel Sweden has developed custom-designed sensors and electronics for weighing and force
